Directions to Distant Shore:

From Summerside on #1 Highway (Trans-Canada Highway) heading east towards Charlottetown:

East of Crapaud at DeSable turn right (South) on to Highway 19, just past the DeSable Motel. Follow Highway 19 approximately 6 kilometers (3.5 miles) to MacDougall Road and turn right. You will pass the Argyle Shore Provincial Park about 3 km before MacDougall Road.

From Charlottetown on # 1 Highway (Trans-Canada Highway) heading west towards Summerside:

In Bonshaw after coming down the hill from the radio tower (also go karts and golf) go over the bridge and then turn left (South) on Bonshaw Road and follow it south to Highway 19 and the ocean. Take a right at Highway 19 and go approx. 1 mile (1.6 km) to MacDougall Road and turn left.

Our sign and red plow are on the south side of Highway 19. Take MacDougall Road to the left (Katie Lane is the road to the right) to Distant Shore about ½ mile (.8 km). You can’t see the cottages from the highway.
